Research Interest Statement
Hauser’s Wisconsin Longitudinal Study (WLS) has received major continuing support to conduct home interviews with respondents. He leads the WLS team of scientists, designs and monitors WLS survey operations and the preparing data and documentation for public distribution. Hauser’s WLS research focuses on the measurement of psychological well-being and adolescent obesity and on the accumulation of wealth. In addition, he co-authored papers on overall trends and differentials in age-grade retardation and on school retention practices associated with the No Child Left Behind Act of 2002.
