During the semester, we host a bi-weekly workshop Mondays 12-1:30pm. We meet in person in Sewell 8108 (Havens Wright room). Hybrid participation is available by email request. You can access the Fall 2023 presentation schedule here.

We strive to create a space where researchers using qualitative methods can discuss methodology, share research, and learn together in a supportive environment. We also host workshops, panels, and guest speakers throughout the academic year. Our workshop is open to everybody – regardless of research experience or departmental affiliation.  

Students also have the option to register for the brownbag (Soc 875: Res in Qualitative Methodology) for credit. For more information about registering for credit, please see the syllabus or contact the graduate student coordinator.
