New Scanner in I/O Room
SSCC's Spring Training Schedule
Interested in Joining a SAS Users Group?
Later this month, you will receive e-mail from students enrolled in the UW School of Business's MBA Marketing Research course asking you to fill out a web-based questionnaire. The purpose of this questionnaire is to investigate service/resource awareness and offerings of the SSCC. These students are working with SSCC staff to help us identify ways of improving resources/services in several ways:
We would really appreciate your taking the time to complete the survey.
We have a new scanner in the I/O room (Soc. Science 4411A) that was purchased with Capital Exercise funds. It has a document feeder, can scan double-sided pages, and can handle slides. The scanner is currently available on a first-come first-served basis, but this summer we will begin offering a new scanning service for SSCC members. More details will be provided soon.
We have three training classes left this semester: Spatial Data Analysis Using GeoDa (Mar. 23, 25 10:00-11:30), Formatting Your Dissertation in Word (Apr. 6 10:00-11:30), and Accessing SSCC Resources While You Travel (Apr. 7 1:00-2:30). Visit SSCC's training web pages for registration information. Remember that all SSCC training sessions require preregistration.
Jane Smith, a SAS programmer in IRP, is interested in starting a SAS Users Group that would meet regularly to share information. In addition, people could subscribe to a listserv for asking questions. E-mail Jane for more information: jsmith@ssc.wisc.edu.
