This workshop has sessions on multiple days. You should plan to attend all the sessions.
This course will provide a short introduction to mixed models: models including both fixed effects and random effects. The course will also introduce random effect specification using the lme4 syntax, lmer() and glmer() model results, and inference on these results. While R is introduced and used in the examples, there is a fair amount of coverage of mixed models in general that would be of interest to researchers working other languages beyond R.
