R Programming and Concepts

An overview of fundamental concepts of the R language. Topics include the grammar and syntax of R, data manipulation, and programming structures, with examples of graphing, and statistical functions.

This course is most appropriate for those who have some previous experience with statistical software - perhaps in a stats class or working on a small project - but who need a thorough grounding in the R language.

This course focuses on "base" or "core" R (in contrast to the "tidyverse"). If you have previously taken our "R for Researchers" workshop, some of this will be review.
